Coiling for Lyme

Trying to cure one case of Lyme Disease

A good kind of tired

I spent a lot of time with my nephew today. By the time dinner started, I was ready for bed. Alas, a coiling session and a blog later, I’ll be sleeping soundly.

We went for two walks together this afternoon and evening. My nephew was interested in watching cars go by at the end of the street. (His family lives on a dead-end that has a non-connecting, perpendicular street that one can see across a patch of grass, a few trees and a sidewalk.) He also liked being outside and looking at everything.

I was pleased as punch that I’m feeling well enough to do two walks in one day. The spine pain has diminished from my paraspinal muscles and is now only in my actual vertebrae. Less pain equals more attention and stamina.

We played on the floor for a while. He is getting more adept at rolling onto his sides. Now he can do the right as well as the left sides. We read a book three times. (It was a short book made of stiff cardboard.) We even danced around the room a few times, listening to the Blues.

All around, we had fun together. But I’m dead tired. No nap. Phew.

Alternate View on Menstrual Cycles

I reported yesterday on what my doctors told me about the menstrual cycle. I spoke to my sister tonight who tells me the opposite of what they told me. She says the luteal phase, after ovulation, is pretty consistently timed (14-15 days), and the follicular phase can change in length.

I’m having a hard time finding a reliable source in either direction, but I did find a few ovulation calculators (that tell a person when to start measuring their basal body temperature to predict ovulation) on fertility websites. Actually, all the places that write about fertility mention that the follicular phase varies in length.

The only issue I have is that the medical tests on day 21 (that assume that ovulation has long since past) make no sense if the fertility calculators tell a woman with a longer cycle not to start testing for ovulation until day 21.

So we’ll see when mine comes and what I’m thinking at that point.

Coiling

  • Babesia, chest, 5 minutes; abdomen, 5 minutes; ilium, 1 minute each side; knees/elbows, 1 minute; shoulders, 15 seconds each
  • Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes; face, 2 minutes

Detox

  • homeopathic support
  • skin brushing
  • asparagus (good for the kidneys)

Body

My Lyme Herx is moving on to the next phase. The muscle pain in my back is gone. Now I’m having more joint crunching, with some pain, and sharper pain in my vertebrae. I’m feeling the joint pain most strongly in my fingers, shoulders and knees. I also have pain in the back of my neck.

The Lyme Herx is giving me all sorts of smells as well in all the places my body rids itself of toxins (sweat, urine, etc.).

Last night, no night sweat, but I woke up with wet hair. So maybe a head-only night sweat.

Either the Renavive is helping out my kidneys or I’ve past the current phase of urinary hesitation. For the past two days, I’ve only had it first thing in the morning.

As the muscle pain recedes, I’m getting a bit more tired again. (Of course, given the day I had, it’s no surprise.) This evening, I’ve been dead tired. I’ve got a headache and eye pain.

I had light sensitivity. I’ve got that damn itch on my chest. It isn’t always red. Sometimes it just itches in a defined patch with no disruption to the skin color.

I took off the Shen Men points last night. Or rather, one of them came off, and I took the second one off. They had been on since the night of June 20th, making it 8 days straight. I’ll put them on again tomorrow. Need to let my ears rest. Hopefully, I’ll have less of an immediate (somnolent) reaction. The reason I’m putting them back in is to see if it helps with the vagus stimulation when I next menstruate. So they might be in there for a while.
