Coiling for Lyme

Trying to cure one case of Lyme Disease

A Cute Little Girl

I’ve had an 8mm projector and two bags of reels sitting in my apartment for the past 4 years, inherited from my aunt when she went into an assisted living apartment. I didn’t know what was on them until today. Aside from the 1962 St. Patrick’s Day Parade and the 1964 World’s Fair in Flushing Meadows Park, there were 5 reels of me at around 18 months of age.

What a picture of health, curiosity and zest for living. I’ve never seen these silent movies before. I was pretty cute. I liked running around. I picked up rocks and moved them. I carried a big Snoopy around (the size of most of my body). I moved a reclining sunchair up and down to see how it worked, despite the fact that it was much bigger than I was. I splashed around in the bay near where we spent the summer. I even played hide and seek with whoever was holding the camera.

I can’t quite imagine being as healthy and unencumbered as the little girl I was watching on the screen. But I’m so glad to see that I was that carefree once upon a time.

VSL#3 Update

My intestines are definitely going through something. All these probiotics are generating a tremendous amount of fecal matter. I feel overstuffed all the time. I’m thinking about slowing  down to 1 pill twice a day until my body catches up. The gas has diminished but still exploded out 3 or 4 times today. My abdomen is distended and hard. I can feel how full my colon is when I lean forward. I’m even getting uncomfortable sitting here. (I’d better go again before I go to sleep…)

Meanwhile, I’m having some pretty typical Candida die-off symptoms in my skin. In particular, I’m getting acne in new places: my temples and my hairline behind my ears.

Body

I woke up refreshed after spending all day Friday in bed. So I proceeded to knock myself out by cleaning my apartment. By the end of the mopping (2nd time I’ve done it myself this month after not being able to do it for almost 5 years), my back was killing me. I was exhausted and had to spend an hour or two lying down.

After my wonderful cleaning job, I took out the 8mm projector. It smelled like mildew. I ended up cleaning white mold off the plastic handle. Then I convinced myself I was going to die from toxic mold. Nice, right? So I washed myself up. And cleaned the area around the projector this morning. No symptoms last night.

Sunday (today)

Coiling

  • Bartonella, abdomen, 5 minutes; chest, 2 minutes; sacrum, 1 minute
  • Candida, abdomen 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes; one minute each: each side of head+each hand, each shoulder, spine in 3 places+elbows, each hip, knees, feet, lower abdomen/pubic bone

Detox

I washed with Selson Blue today because I was totally freaked out about the mold exposure. I know that it doesn’t work on all types of mold, but I figured that this type grew on the plastic handle but not the metal part of the projector casing. I’ve got my fingers crossed.

  • skin brushing
  • kombucha
  • full body & hair wash with selson blue

Body

I woke up with moderate back pain this morning. I seem to be getting through the herxes rapidly when I rest enough. I got pretty tired at around 3pm and have been more low energy the rest of the day/evening. I’ve had some joint pain, mostly in my hips today.

Tonight I have a big headache. My trachea is irritated. Even if the mold isn’t causing an infection, it is bothering me. So I put away the machine and cleaned up around it, attempting to sterilize the area. I’m hoping that I wake up tomorrow refreshed enough to enjoy yoga.
