Coiling for Lyme

Trying to cure one case of Lyme Disease

Bartonella Coiling Plan

Yesterday I sat down with my notebook and everything I think I know about Bartonella. I came up with what I think is an aggressive plan to get rid of the infection. I took into account what some other coilers have told me about their experiences as well as what I’ve tried. I took into account where I think the infection is concentrated in my body and what my symptoms are. I took into account what I’ve read about it on the internet and in the few books that mention it.

After considering everything, these were the key factors I took into account:

  1. Bartonella has a rapid reproduction cycle. Since I have a pretty long-standing, pervasive case, I’ll need to coil most of my body at least twice a day.
  2. My case of Bartonella definitely has a big central nervous system component. Therefore I need to coil my central nervous system frequently.
  3. Bartonella is a blood borne illness. Therefore, to really knock it out, I’ll need to coil my blood stream three times a day.
  4. I have a lot of digestive system involvement. Therefore, I’ll need to coil my abdomen more than the peripheral parts of my body.
  5. I have peripheral nerve involvement, which means that the Bartonella infection could be living on my peripheral nerves, not just in my CNS. Therefore, I need to cover all major nerve bundles 1-2 times per day.

There is one further issue that places a limit on how much I can coil each day: the coils heat up quickly at 832Hz. With each of my two coils, I can do about 18 minutes in one sitting. That means 36 minutes maximum in the morning, and 36 minutes maximum at night, if I’m trying to space out the treatments by 12 hours. It also means that if I want to do more, I’ll have to do it in the middle of the day.

The coil is about 9 inches in diameter. The microbe-killing field it generates comes out most strongly from the face of the coil and from the perpendicular edge, and decreases in magnitude until it is ineffective about 6 inches from the coil. That means that when concentrating on one body part, I can also coil the surrounding areas. My coiling plan assumes that although I coil my whole body twice a day, the field will be stronger on some parts in the morning and other parts at night. Then some areas that is near other parts that are coiled frequently that will only be focused on in the middle of the day because I ran out of minutes for morning and evening.

This is the battle. This is the illness that has plagued me since I can remember anything about my life. I plan to coil enough to get rid of it, for real, for good (maybe after a few relapses in case there is a dormant form of Bartonella stored in my body). I will be as aggressive as I can be, respecting the herxes, respecting my body and fighting with every fiber of my being.

Bartonella Coiling Plan

Morning (total 36 minutes):

  • Chest (including heart and lungs for blood supply), 10 minutes
  • Abdomen, 5 minutes
  • Head: each side & top, 1 minute per, back 2 minutes
  • Spine: upper, middle, lower, 2 minutes per
  • Shoulder knobs and neck, 1 minute on each side
  • Each ilium front, 1 minute
  • Each hip bursa, 1 minute
  • Front of legs: thighs, kneecaps, shins, 1 minute each
  • Feet through coil, 1 minute

Midday (total 33 minutes)

  • Spleen (for blood supply), 10 minutes
  • Abdomen, 5 minutes
  • Head: each side & top, 1 minute per, back 2 minutes
  • Spine: upper, middle, lower, 2 minutes per
  • Shoulder knobs and neck, 1 minute on each side
  • Between legs: thighs, knees, calves, 1 minute each
  • Each outer thigh, midway down thigh, 1 minute

Night (total 34 minutes)

  • Liver (for blood supply & partial abdominal coverage) 10 minutes
  • Each side of ribcage plus the adjacent arm, 1 minute
  • Head: each side & top, 1 minute per, back 2 minutes
  • Spine: upper, middle, lower, 2 minutes per
  • Shoulder front and neck, 1 minute on each side
  • Shoulder blades, 1 minute on each side
  • Each ilium back, 1 minute
  • Back of legs: butt, thighs, back of knees, calves, heels, 1 minute each

My hands get coiled when I’m doing my head. My arms get additional coiling when I do my chest.

In Process

Having figured out what I’m going to do, I’m cautiously increasing the amount I’m coiling each day. As of today, I’ve coiled the maximum amount I’ve ever done for Bartonella, which is what I was doing prior to my Christmas coiling break.

  • January 27: abdomen 5 mins, chest 2 mins, back of head 2 mins, each side of head 1 min, top of head 1 min, each shoulder knob 1 min, upper spine 2 mins, middle spine 2 mins, sacrum 2 mins, each side of rib cage 1 min, each hip bursa 1 minute, each ilium front 1 minute
  • January 28: abdomen 5 mins, chest 2 mins, back of head 2 mins, each side of head 1 min, top of head 1 min, each shoulder knob 1 min, upper spine 2 mins, middle spine 2 mins, sacrum 2 mins, each side of rib cage 1 min, each hip bursa 1 minute, each ilium front 1 minute, each ilium back 1 minute, lower abdomen 1 minute, butt 1 minute, between legs: thighs, knees, shins – 1 minute each, feet through coil 1 minute

I think that the next step is to do a 10 minute coiling session on my spleen or liver in the evening and see if I the herxing gets much worse. I’ll report on it as I go along.

Bartonella Herxing

The herxing continues. My bowels are irritated, leading me to the bathroom 4 times yesterday. This morning I have very loose stools. I’m dealing with lots of gas. My abdomen is bloated and hard and a little bit sore. My appetite is diminishing, and I feel full a few bites into each meal. So far, I’m forcing myself to eat, but I’m not sure if it’s the right way to handle the problem.

My kidneys and bladder are irritated. I constantly feel thirsty. I frequently feel like I need to urinate, even when my bladder is only partly filled. I’m starting to have floaters in my vision all the time. I wake up with back pain and hand and foot pain. I’m itchy. I have transient (5-30 mins) tingling in my toes and legs and hands.

I slept better last night after several rounds of insomnia the night before. I find myself tired, done for the day in fact, by about 7 pm, even though I rest during the day. When I’m not resting, I feel restless, wanting to be occupied. I had a big emotional outburst (actually 3) yesterday. I can feel the herxing in my brain this way.

I’m getting headaches more frequently. They are short and happen a few times a day. I had a barely noticeable night sweat last night. I realized it when I got up to go to the bathroom and there was a dampness in my shirt. I assume it is the Bartonella herx and not the Babesia coming back.

I still feel like I can handle the herxes. But having figured out my coiling plan, I’m ready to focus on the detox side.

Backburner Infections

In the back of my mind, I’m constantly hunting for signs that the Babesia is returning. It would be really hard to do a full Bartonella coiling program each day as well as a full Babesia coiling program. Not only would it take up all my time, but I’d need another coil or two! So far, however, I seem clear of the Babesia.

In the front of my mind, I’m waiting for the Lyme season to start. Once it does, I’ll have two days of coiling all the time and five days of Bartonella only. The closest thing I have to Lyme symptoms are aches in my knuckle joints. I’m not sure if it is the beginning of Lyme season or a manifestation of the hand pain I get with Bartonella. Last year, Lyme season started with a bang the last weekend in January: I felt like I got hit by a truck one morning and didn’t feel better till I started coiling. Nothing so dramatic this year. Not yet anyway…

  1. Good Luck with your search for wellness. I have the Doug coil and it has helped me for years. Just moved to the MOPA and what a difference…. I have hope I can concur Lyme now. 832 is still the best Bart frequency but I have to wonder what is a Herx and what is from the bacteria.

    • Thanks for the good wishes. I’ve heard that people get stuck with the Doug coil machine and can end up in an ongoing cycle where they improve but never get cured. I’m trying to figure out how to take it to the next step, to really get through it. I suppose that if this doesn’t work out, I’ll be looking into MOPA myself…

      Good luck to you!
