For the past two nights, I’ve gone to see Black & Kinky Amongst Brown Waves a one woman show by Margaux Delotte-Bennett at WOW Cafe Theatre. It’s been fantastic. Margaux deals with racism and sexism in ways that are open and honest and leave room for laughter at the shocking nature of human interactions. She also finds touching ways to share the connections she made with people in Chennai, the insights she discovered about herself and her faith, and the humor of being in an unfamiliar place.

I’m heading there again tonight for the final performance. If you’re in NYC, come join us! It’s a perfect way to spend a Saturday night.

Body

I was walking back from the post office at 5pm (I just made it in time to drop off my packages) thinking that I just wasn’t in as much pain as I expected to be, and felt terribly grateful. I’d spent a good portion of the day in bed very tired from being out the night before and from Lyme Herxing. Yet I was pleased that the aches in my joints were minor. That my headache was not too distracting. That I could walk at all, in fact, made me feel joyful.

Saturday

Coiling

  • Babesia, ilium, 1 minute each side; knees/elbows, 1 minute; liver, 5 minutes; chest, 5 minutes
  • Bartonella, 5 minutes, abdomen; 2 minutes, chest
  • Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes

Detox

  • kombucha
  • nap

Body

I’m still working on the fatigue. I slept less than 8 hours last night, with two internally-generated interruptions. I’m tired again this morning. My headache is a little worse. So is the light sensitivity.

I needed an hour nap today. I was just so tired.

My pain level is moderate. I’m holding off until tomorrow on getting more serious about treatments so I can enjoy the last performance tonight.
