My body feels overtaxed, but not my wallet. Yesterday, I spent 4 hours figuring out my taxes and inputing the information into some free online program for people with lower incomes. By the end, my arms were ready to fall off. My shoulders and neck were cramped. I promised myself I would take more breaks next time I have a big computer project.
I filed the tax forms today. I always like to sleep on it. It gave me time to receive one last form in the mail that needed to be included. It’s a huge relief to be done and put me in a great mood.
The New Herx
My body feels topsy turvy. I feel like these compressed coiling sessions are pretty hard on my organs. My acupuncturist said that everything is out of whack–liver, spleen, kidneys. I’ve definitely felt it in my kidneys. My intestines are continually irritated and overproductive. I’m exhausted and moody (both good and bad moods).
The fatigue then gets the rest of my body upset: joint pain, buzzing and pain from irritated nerves, major pain in my ear canals.
So I’m taking it one day at a time. I do what I can and postpone what I can’t.
Intestinal Help or Overwhelm?
Tomorrow I start VSL#3 and stop 5LAC for a while. The idea with the 5LAC is that it eats the Candida cells in addition to competing against them and helping digestion. The VSL#3 is a little different. It’s a medical grade food that helps outcompete the Candida and also is potent enough to establish good bacteria colonies in the intestines.
I might suddenly have better digestion and fewer food intolerances. That would be amazing. It might also help with all the inflammation I’ve had in my intestines lately. One would think that might happen since VSL#3 is used to treat IBS.
Alternatively, I could have a huge Candida die-off that overwhelms my liver and intestines. That would be difficult. But it could be the last hoorah for Candida before the tides have completely turned in my favor.
Tuesday
Coiling

Body
I started the day with kidney pain and a dull ache on the left side of my body. My right shoulder was hurtin’ pretty badly, too. After acupuncture, the generalized pain went away. My kidneys felt better later in the day. But I ended up really tired and had a bit of a headache. My intestines were irritated, lots of gas, distended abdomen, loose stools alternating with solid. A neurological itch in my left heel. Earaches in both ears at night.
Wednesday (today)

Body
Except for the earaches and fatigue, I felt better for the first part of the day. Then the kidney pain came back along with other low back pain. More intestinal irritation, same as yesterday. A headache tonight. Joint pain, both my upper body (wrists, shoulders, neck) and my lower body (hips, knees, ankles).
