Today is the hundredth day since I started coiling. I’m now coiling for 4 infections: Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia and Candida. Each infection causes as different kind of reaction, so I’ve worked out the coiling times and increased them accordingly.
My impression so far is that I’ve gotten stronger, have more endurance and more concentration on my good days than I ever had on antibiotics. I still have bad days, partly from the infections, partly from the Herxes. I’m more convinced than ever that coiling needs to be part of a 3 pronged approach:
- Kill the infections using the coil.
- Detox as thoroughly and as quickly as possible.
- Rebuild my body and don’t make things worse.
I’m still struggling to detox enough. I’m not totally sure what to do. I’m trying a different homeopathic regimen. I’m considering using the BioMat in a different way, working up a 20 minute sweating session once a day. I’m not there quite yet. I’m thinking I need to add in a concerted exercise routine another day a week besides the yoga class. Finally, I’m planning on doing acupuncture regularly again. All those together might make me able to coil more without the symptoms building up.
The last two parts of the detox plan should also help with the rebuilding process, in addition to watching my diet. One thing I found out I need to do is eat more cholesterol to protect my nervous system. The other things include going to bed earlier and napping as needed.
Meanwhile, I still contemplate getting more aggressive with the coiling sessions. There was a one month period when I had to be careful not to trigger a big Herx because I had to be available to support other people in my family on a daily basis. It was nice to think that I could slowly climb up the coiling times and not have any big reactions. I don’t relish Herxes. At this point, I’ve seen a lot of positive results, so I’m willing to face bigger Herxes if I can get rid of the Bartonella and Babesia before September (or at least get them down to manageable infections) when the Lyme will become more active. I’m also pondering how to really kill off the Candida infection. I’m guessing I’ll have to start coiling other parts of my body besides my abdomen. Coiling is about to take up a lot more of my time. And that’s just exactly what I need to be doing.
Coiling
I went back to Bartonella because I think the allergic reaction has sufficiently died down for me to handle a small Herx. I’m also reaching the 10 minute mark on Babesia tonight after which I’ll start adding in the rest of my skeleton.
- Bartonella, abdomen, 5 minutes; chest, 2 minutes
- Babesia, chest, 5 minutes; liver, 5 minutes
- Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes
Detox
I did something very out of character for me. I started 3 new homeopathic treatments on the same day. I’ve used 2 of them at some point in the past, so I wasn’t worried about how I would react to them (Pleo Sanuvis and Mundipur). The third is for the lungs, and I figured my lungs could use the support (Pulonik).
- homeopathic support
- juiced greens
- skin brushing
- BioMat
- castor oil pack on abdomen
- rest
Body
I slept through the night again with no night sweat. When I woke up, the pain in my chest was very mild. I had pain in my hands and feet and a slight headache.
Overall, the histamines seem almost unnoticeable. I don’t have trouble breathing. I don’t get winded, not exactly, but I find myself sighing and huffing from time to time. The only time I had to work to breathe was when I walked to my parents’ apartment. The walk was a bit much for me.
Now that that’s under control, the rest of my body is acting up. I’ve had pain in my spine for part of the day. My left hip, along with the lower left part of my back and my left leg (thigh, knee, ankle and foot) have been in pain all day. I’ve had problems when I put pressure on the hip joint, even just walking around my apartment. I’ve had to spend a significant portion of the day in bed with heat on it.
I had loose bowels and several bowel movements today. That makes me think something is clearing out.
This evening, I’m having pain in my right leg, too (knee, calf and foot). I’m itchy. My headache is coming back with floaters and light sensitivity. My forearms hurt along with my hands and fingers.
That’s just the way it goes.

Hello,
I also have a Doug Coil and I’m treating my self with it.
When do you know that u have to change the frequency? I tried 432, 410 and 790. It improved my health a lot but after a while I stopped feeling the Herx and got stuck.
I also have candida. What frequency do you use?
Symptoms: tachycardias and joint inflamation.
Hope you are doing well.!!
Thanks for your comment.
For candida, I use 465Hz. When I get stuck, I try frequencies for other infections, even if I haven’t tested positive. Sometimes that helps. In particular, for tachycardia, I use the Babesia frequencies, 570Hz and 753Hz. If they cause night sweats, I know I’m on the right track.
Good luck!
