I spent this afternoon with my nephew. He’s wonderful. He looks at me with a big smile when he sees me. Even though he was tired and cranky (even babies have bad days sometimes), he was fun to be around. When he needed to cry, he did it with vigor. Then there was a nice nap…for both of us.
These are the days that make me glad I got the coil machine. Antibiotics got me really far. I could tell they reduced the infection in my body. That made a lot of things possible. But there were the side effects that made it hard for me to really regain my strength. With the coil machine, I continue to make progress on the infections, but my strength is coming back faster. It is nice to be well enough to hold him all afternoon and not be suffering from extreme insomnia or digestive upset to make that possible.
Having said all that, I’m fairly tired. I’m hoping I can fall asleep early tonight so that I have enough energy in the morning to make juiced greens. I didn’t get to it this morning. I did manage to set up the BioMat and use it, and I changed the blanket on the bed. I got up early to hang out with him while my sister got ready for work. After all that, I needed to rest before I spent the afternoon with him.

Body
I slept better last night, only getting up once. I woke up in the morning sweaty enough for a damp shirt, but no middle of the night sweat.
I was pretty zonked in the morning until I had some time on the BioMat (and my first nap). I was having some joint pain, especially my fingers and my knees. Later on the in the day, my hips had a mild ache. I’ve got some light sensitivity, and this evening, I have a headache.
Then there is the good kind of hurt: my arms are tired and have some muscle aches from holding a baby for so long. The muscles will be regenerating in my arms and upper back while I’m visiting with my very huggable, very lovable nephew.
