Two ice cream day

Sometimes I have vanilla flavored coconut milk ice cream with peanut butter as a snack or desert. It gives me extra calories to make up for the fact that I haven’t been eating grains or sugar.

After yesterday’s yoga class, I’m pretty wiped out. That’s how it is sometimes, exercise can require two or three days to recover from. Besides making me tired, it made me extra hungry. So I had some ice cream with peanut butter.

Meanwhile, the Lyme Herx has started. Last night I got about 6 hours of sleep. The last time I looked at the clock was 1:15am. I’d been in bed for almost 2 hours. I fell asleep sometime after that. My heart was bothering me enough to keep me awake. Then I woke up bright and early. By 7:15am, I couldn’t keep my eyes closed anymore. Step 1 of the Herx has arrived. I’m tired now and hoping I’ll sleep more tonight.

Meanwhile, I have a pretty bad headache that started around 9pm. It’s getting noticeably worse every time I check the clock, every 15 minutes or so. I’m going to take a welchol when I finish this post. It works best when taken with a high fat meal or snack. Thus, the second ice cream. I hope this headache doesn’t keep me up…

Coiling

I was tired and off my game today, so I forgot to do Bartonella. Of course with this headache, it seems alright that I skipped it.

  • Babesia, chest, 10 minutes
  • Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes

Detox

As I mentioned, I was off my game this morning. So I was standing in the shower, all wet, when I realized I forgot to dry brush my skin. Oops.

  • juiced greens (2 cups worth)
  • walk in the sunshine
  • nap

My doc responded to me about the food questions. I can definitely have yellow plums, up to 2 per day. And on non-plum days, I can have up to 15 mulberries. (Fewer than I’ve been gobbling down, but that’s why I asked for a limit!)

Body

No night sweat. Not enough sleep. My hands were hurting pretty badly this morning when I first woke up. I was too tired to get up for at least an hour.

I found myself somewhat nauseated after breakfast. I soon found myself back in bed napping for a while. I got really groggy and had a hard time getting up. The afternoon was slow with more time lying down, but with some of it on the phone. It’s good to talk to people on days like this. They never know how my body feels because I’m happy to connect and it comes through in my voice.

I managed a short walk. But then I was tired again. So tired. Plus, I’m having sharp pain in my lower back coming out of the left side of my lumbar spine.

My finger joints ache. My shoulders ache. The muscles in my arms and shoulders are sore from the yoga class. My intestines are unhappy, maybe a bit inflamed or maybe the end of the last Herx is making its way out.

I put the shen men mustard seeds in my ears today.

Time for ice cream (and maybe a little detoxifying relief…)
