Chest pains

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

Not a heart attack.

There is a very specific kind of pain that I’ve had since just after the time when I’m sure I was bitten by a tick in 2001. It starts out as a sharp pain, like the underwire of a bra is digging into my ribs. (This was confusing back when I wore underwire.) Then it spreads along one or two ribs and gets focused on the spot where the ribs meet the sternum.

It feels like someone stabbed me with a knife on my left side and left it there.

That’s today.

I got through a few things on my list. I made 2/3 of the phone calls I wanted to make, including all the ones to entities which want me to send them money that I do not owe. (Gotta love the health insurance industry.) By the time I was done with one 48 minute call that involved 5 transfers, each one to “someone who can help” me then couldn’t until the last one, I wanted to call it a day.

I sucked it up and did the laundry. Part way through, the chest pain began. I toughed it out until I got the dry clothes into my apartment, and I’ve been bedridden the rest of the day. Even getting up to write this is irritating my ribs and causing significant pain.

I don’t know how to categorize this pain. Is it the end of the Herx, or is it the borrelia cysts waking up in time for spring? (Borrelia is the genus of bacteria that cause Lyme disease.)

Coiling

I’m on the keep it simple program. Lyme disease is my main goal, but the Bartonella gets in the way. So all I need to do is keep it at bay. When the Lyme Herxes get milder, I can pound away at the Bartonella.

  • Bartonella, abdomen, 2 minutes
  • Candida, abodmen, 5 minutes

Detox

My grand plan for a colonic tomorrow was foiled. The place is totally booked up. Next time I go to Manhattan I’ll book further in advance. Instead, I’m getting some kind of detoxifying foot bath. I’ll let you know about it after I learn more and try it.

Today’s program, same as ever.

  • skin  brushing
  • homeopathic support
  • kombucha
  • juiced greens
  • castor oil pack on liver

Body

I woke up with severe spine pain again. That, and the rib pain I described above was in my back, on the left side. I had a mild headache most of the day and some ear pain. My hand joints are still bothering me. And I feel sooooo tired all the damn time.

Nothing else registers above the rib pain.
