Last night, I coiled for Babesia for the first time…in a place where it could cause a Herx. (I tried before on my hands.) I didn’t feel much last night. I slept soundly, which I needed after yesterday’s excitement. I woke up once with a really intense night sweat. It was more than a shirt changer. My bed was a bit damp, as was my hair and my pillow. I guess I started Herxing…
This morning I felt like gravity had increased. My limbs felt tired and heavy, even when I was lying flat on my back. It was intense. I was moving through a fog until just after 1pm. I stayed tired the rest of the day, but the fog lifted.
Today I did some reading about other people who have used a coil to try to kill Babesia. The two things that seem worth repeating are
- that it’s in the blood, so if I coil, I should pick a spot that has a lot of blood flow, and
- that it infects the bone marrow, so once I’ve reached a critical treatment of the blood, I have to do the whole rest of my body.
I decided to try 30 seconds again tonight, this time over my lungs instead of my liver. Both have lots of blood flow, but my lungs are encased in my ribs. So I can start treating a set of bones while I’m at it.
(If you’re looking for more info on Babesia, read my post Babesia Basics. See an update on the coiling sessions here.)
Tonight, I had more of a reaction. I felt a tightening in my throat, like the non-existant thing that always feels stuck there got a little bigger. Within a few minutes, I felt a pain in my left temple that enlarged into a big headache. Good grief. I’m attempting (not very successfully) to type quickly before it takes over my consciousness.
The other thing that’s happening is that my typing is getting all messed up, with the letters coming out in the wrong order. (I’m editing as I go because I wouldn’t be able to follow my own writing if I didn’t.)
I wouldn’t normally coil for something two days in a row to start out. Maybe every other day. But the reaction wasn’t too bad yesterday. So if I skipped a day, it would be on a Lyme day when everything goes haywire. Tomorrow I try coiling my spine again to see how the head bump and the hip respond.
Coiling
Besides the Babesia test, today is a Bartonella day. And I’m continuing to coil my hips. Not much doing there. The left side hurts somewhat less than before, but not much. I feel the pain down the side of my legs when I coil and it diminishes after I stop.
- Babesia, chest, 30 seconds
- Lyme, hips, 3 minutes each side
- Bartonella, abdomen, 4 minutes
- Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes
Detox
My digestion has been slow for a few days. The candida websites say that as it dies off, constipation can result. I haven’t had it that bad yet, but I like to keep up a good pace on the elimination front (or back, as the case may be).
The point of all this is that I thought it was a good time for a day or two of sauteed cabbage. I had the first delicious serving tonight. My mom brought over fresh dill to put on top after it was cooked. This is turning into my favorite dish.
- homeopathic support
- kombucha
- juiced greens
- cabbage
- skin brushing
- infrared heat (40 minutes, medium heat)
- castor oil pack on liver
Body
Besides the night sweat and the morning gravity and fog, it was a regular day for symptoms. The floaters in my vision were particularly noticeable. I felt very sensitive to sunlight. Still have the earache, the sore throat and the feeling of something stuck in my throat. My knees hurt for a long while. My hands are very painful, and they have this bonus feature of typing incorrectly. My skin continues to break out. My upper back is sore, but the popping in my left shoulder is less pronounced. I have pain on my hips/outer thighs, and tenderness down the outside of my legs. I’ve been tired most of the day.
All in all, I’m a walking bag of symptoms. But I don’t care because at least I’m walking.
Good Stuff
The family crisis is almost resolved and my dad, who’s been sick is doing well. I got to see one of my cousins and his children today visiting Dad at the hospital. My cousin remarked on how well I’m walking compared to the last time he saw me.
My sister and her husband are enjoying their new baby. They sent me beautiful pictures today. I can’t wait to meet the little fellow.
I had time to make a few short phone calls today and catch up with my friends who I temporarily lost touch with over the past week.
And did I mention how yummy the cabbage was?

Thank you for your blog. I also am using a coil machine for my lyme/co-infections. I also have typing issues (along with other fun cognitive bloopers, if you will). I am seeing excellent improvements, in my physical endurance since coiling since December; I am back to cycling, long walks, and am back working, hurray!
I am needing to detox more! Right now I am using Activated Charcoal, Burbur, and Coffee Enemas (3 times a week). I am desperately seeking the frequency to bring back health to my swallowing of food. I can eat, but it feels very intense, since coiling for Bart.
I wish you good health and happiness!
I just read, “Don’t Feed The Beasts”. Thank you for this, I need to remind myself of this, over an over again! I eat too much starch, and sweets. I HAVE to be strong!
I love your blog Rose! I really felt your emotions, and honesty from, “100 Days of Coiling”. I ‘m right there with you. Coiling has become my life, for the most part. Well done Rose. Saludos to you 🙂
