Today started very early (3:50 am) with the wonderful news that my sister delivered a healthy baby boy. I’ve been ecstatic all day.
As I sleepily type this post, I can feel a touch of regret that I haven’t completely tackled Lyme et al. and am in the middle of treatment. I always imagined I would go be with my sister for the first month or so to help out. Instead, I’m at home taking care of myself.
I once heard another Lyme combatant call the disease an invisible prison. I feel that way tonight.
Still, I’m super happy for my sister and her husband. Their little one is a lucky boy.
Coiling
Despite my extreme fatigue, I’ve decided to go ahead with the first Babesia treatment. I’m doing that while continuing the Lyme treatment on my hips. I’ll do another regular Lyme treatment on Monday.
- Babesia, liver, 30 seconds
- Lyme, hips, 3 minutes on each side
- Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes
Detox
It was a light day. I was out of the house for a long time.
- homeopathic support
- kombucha
- juiced greens
- skin brushing
- lemon water
Body
I’ve been awake for a long time, since just before 4am, with a 2.5 hour nap before 9am. Still, I’m exhausted.
When I woke up to the news, I was in the midst of a heavy night sweat. My complaints today are my ribs, upper back, knees, hands (very much my hands), headache, itchy eyes, earache, sore throat, feeling like there is something stuck in my throat, hips (joints + the nerve bundle on the outside of my thigh) and fatigue with somnolence. I also have a moderate non-specific ache in my abdomen.
I think the Lyme Herx is almost gone. I decided it’s mild enough at this point to test the waters on Babesia. No reaction while I was using the coil. About 30 seconds later, I had a slight feeling of compression in my chest.
I will soon go to bed a happy new auntie.
