One of the things I’ve been struggling with lately is fatigue. It’s killing me. The trick is to figure out what’s causing it, then see if I can manage it. Sometimes fatigue just has to be rested away.
It got better for a few days by coiling extra for Babesia. Then it got worse again. So I skipped a day of Babesia, thinking that maybe I’m Herxing too much. But today, the fatigue was worse than the previous few days.
Another possibility is that I haven’t been completing my full detox protocol every day. Today is the second day in a row without juiced greens. A few days ago, I missed a day of kombucha. I don’t drink lemon water as often as I should. And sometimes I forget a dose of homeopathic drops for my liver and kidneys. So it could be that.
Then there’s my blood pressure. It is a candidate for the current bout of fatigue. When it drops, I feel more tired and somewhat nauseated. That was how I was last night and most of the morning. I remembered to have a pickle (salt) to try to stabilize my blood pressure. Tomorrow, if I’m still bad off, I’ll try 2, and maybe an electrolyte packet. One problem with fatigue is that it’s hard to think while standing up.
It could be the Lyme Herx (or any of the infections getting more active as spring progresses). These toxins require a lot of the body’s energy to be removed. I’ve wanted to do things each day, to walk in the pleasant weather, to see people, to do laundry or go shopping. It’s psychologically hard to stay reclined when the world beckons. But I’ve been fighting to stay upright. I just really want to lie down all the time.
The problem with all this is that I don’t get what I need to done each day, including the blog, before my energy runs out. So I end up staying up past when I should to finish the blog and the coiling and the castor oil pack and the last phone call of the night. When I stay up late, it screws up my adrenal glands, and I pay for it the next day.
Early on in my illness, I discovered that pain and fatigue were noticeably worse if I went to bed after 11pm compared to before 10pm. I also slept less, even if I let myself wake naturally. The obvious solution is to go to bed earlier. Since I didn’t figure all this out until 9:30 tonight, I’ll have to implement the logical action starting tomorrow night.
By some miracle, I’m hoping that going to bed earlier will give me more energy each day.
Coiling
Today is a co-infection day. I’m increasing the Babesia coiling time tonight to see if that helps with the fatigue. The increased coiling time led to the feeling of constriction in my chest and my throat. I took magnesium citrate immediately after.
- Bartonella, abdomen, 5 minutes
- Babesia, chest, 3 minutes; liver, 2 minutes
- Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes
Detox
Nothing unusual. Since I didn’t get to juice again today, I had a double dose of kombucha.
- homeopathic support
- kombucha
- skin brushing
- daytime rest
- BioMat
- castor oil pack on liver
Body
I developed an earache in my right ear just as I fell asleep last night. It continued all day today. The colestid I took last night got rid of my headache. It didn’t return until 10pm tonight.
I had two night sweats last night. I also was sleeping lightly and woke several times. In the morning, I was groggy but awake from 7 to 7:30am, then I crashed into another sleep until almost 9am.
I was tired all day. Other than breakfast, I was lying around until noon. I just couldn’t get myself upright. Then after a short walk to my parents’ place and back, I needed to lie down for another hour to continue with my day.
My joints are moderately painful. My right side has a layer of dull pain from my head to my foot and everywhere in between, limbs, torso, eye, ear, neck, etc. I have floaters in my vision this evening. And I’ve been feeling a bit chilled today, even though the weather wasn’t chilly.
