As I continue to experiment with new treatments, to modify my protocols for bacteriacide and detoxification and diet, I have to make tons of decisions.
Today, I’m pondering two of them. First, should I stop florinef on Saturday? My doctor told me if I was okay after a week, I could stop or cut the pill into quarters. I’d rather just stop. The benefits are that I’d be finished with it and see how I’m doing Tuesday when I go to the cardiologist. We’d have more information to use as we head forward.
The drawbacks are that I might not be well enough to do yoga on Monday if my blood pressure is totally. My cardiologist might be alarmed if I’m in the midst of withdrawal and my vitals look bad. And I might have a Herx coming on which started about 3 minutes before I started typing this post.
As I’m writing, I think I’ll drop down to a quarter dose on Saturday. It will be a slower reduction with less drastic withdrawal than dropping the drug from half a dose to nothing.
The second question is what to coil tonight for Lyme. This Herx is making me rethink my plan. I was going to do my spine, one minute on my central spine and one minute on my upper spine. I’ve been reluctant to coil my head for Lyme even though (or perhaps because) I’m pretty sure the infection is in my skull and brain. I’m not looking forward to that Herx.
It’s been almost 23 hours since I coiled for Lyme on my liver and chest. I think the Herx is arriving now. Still, I think I should do my spine tonight. What the heck am I waiting for? I’ll be in bed all weekend with the blood pressure and the sooner I have the florinef out of my system, the less extra my body has to deal with. Why not Herx at the same time?

- Lyme, central spine, 1 minute; upper spine and back, 1 minute
- Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes
Detox
Once again, I paid someone to clean my apartment. The floor feels completely different. It is a whole new world each time my apartment gets cleaned, it seems much cleaner than the previous time. I’m sure it’s good to get rid of all the dust and dirt the city sends in through my windows and on my shoes. The only problem is that the place needs to be aired out a bit because some of the cleaning solutions have more fumes than I can handle.
- kombucha
- diatomaceous earth
Body
I didn’t sleep enough last night. I was up and down to the bathroom every hour till 2:30am, and not fully asleep in between. I didn’t have any major sweats until morning.
I’m tired today. A little more achy in my joints. I forced myself to do laundry while my apartment was being cleaned. I’ve been a zombie the rest of the day and evening.
I’ve still got an upper respiratory infection or at least congestion: ears, sinuses, nose, throat and bronchial congestion with coughing. My temperature is running on the hot side.
I started the GSE last night. Today, I’ve had two drops, one in the morning and one after dinner. My chest rash didn’t flare today. The prickly sensation from the ketoconozole is completely gone. Still waiting for the bladder symptoms to clear up.
Now I’ve got a big headache rolling in. My eyes want to close. Floaters just appeared in my vision.
I think I’m knocking myself out.
