Coiling for Lyme

Trying to cure one case of Lyme Disease

Resting and catching up

It was a funny kind of a weekend. I rested a lot. I spent a bunch of time on the phone lying in bed. I felt unproductive and a little tortured.

Then when I had rested enough, I went out for a walk and did a few time-sensitive things on the computer.

Then I rested some more. I rested enough to decide it was okay not to blog after doing other computer work. I was trying to balance everything. And I screwed up my diet a little and ended up eating allergenic foods (cabbage and wheat) which has made my hands and arms hurt when I use the computer.

I went easy on the coiling treatments because I knew my body was pretty stressed from florinef withdrawal. Plus the new Lyme Disease coiling protocol calls for a few days off each week.

The florinef withdrawal is going pretty well. I feel very tired. I have a funny sensation in my head like I need to lie down…even when I’m lying down. It is a mild pain along the top of my head with a sensation of being off balance. My vision is still a little off but in subtle ways that I only notice if I move my head.  I’m not sure how my blood pressure is, but I’m making an effort to consume more salt than I had been. I’m hoping the blood pressure problems even out and I get stable once the withdrawal process is over.

I went to yoga today. I had a different teacher than usual. It was both a really good class and exactly the kind of class that I’m afraid of. The teacher got us warmed up and then slowly moved us into complicated poses. That stuff gets tricky for me. I end up being able to get into the pose and then discovering once I’m in it that my body isn’t ready for it. By the end of class, I had severe pain in the bottom half of my back, so intense that I couldn’t lie in shivasana. Instead I had to bring my knees up to my chest and breath into the muscles to get them to relax, then do the same with my feet on the floor and my knees up. After a few minutes that way, I was able to lie flat, still in pain, but closer to bearable. I left with a big headache.

I got home feeling energetic, but that feeling only lasted about a half hour. I’ve spent the rest of the day in bed. It’s hard to know if it’s the yoga, the florinef withdrawal, or a slowly building Herx from last week’s treatment.

The Herx started at the end of last week with back pain. It is mostly in my lower spine and sacrum yesterday and today. This morning I woke up with severe light sensitivity. By 11am, I had the characteristic headache. So I took a Welchol before yoga and that did the trick until I got a yoga headache. This fatigue isn’t helping. I’m almost wishing I had a blood pressure monitor in my apartment to see if that’s the problem.

I haven’t been doing all my detox activities. I know that they help, and goodness knows, it might be the diatomaceous earth that’s preventing me from crumbling under a big Herx. Some of the rebuilding nutrients, like kombucha and juiced greens have been unavailable for almost a week. I’ll see what I can manage this upcoming week.

Saturday

Coiling

  • Lyme, sacrum, 2 minutes
  • Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes

Detox

  • skin brushing
  • diatomaceous earth
  • BioMat (1 hour, level 3)
  • nap (short)
  • resting lying down

Body

I woke up feeling woozy like I needed to lie down (which I was already doing).

Lots of fatigue. Lots of lower back pain, centered around my sacrum. Headache part of the day.

Sunday

Coiling

  • Bartonella, abdomen, 5 minutes; chest, 2 minutes
  • Babesia, ilium, 1 minute each side; knees/elbows, 1 minute; liver, 5 minutes; chest, 5 minutes; shoulder blades, 30 seconds each; shoulders, 30 seconds; feet, 1 minute; central back, 1 minute; low back, 1 minute; upper back, 1 minute
  • Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes

Detox

  • skin brushing
  • diatomaceous earth
  • fresh air and sunshine
  • resting (lying down)

Body

Light night sweat. The weather is warming up. So are all my fungal infections. I’m taking 4 drops of grapefruit seed oil each day. I’m working my way up, but the dose so far isn’t getting rid of the infections (itchy chest, cloudy urine).

More fatigue today, but more attention to do a few things around the house and do a little project on my computer. I went out to eat with my parents. That’s how I ended up with wheat contamination and the resultant pain in my shoulders and hands when I used the computer.

Still have pain in my lower spine. Light sensitivity starting.

Monday (today)

Coiling

The tinea versicolor is driving me nuts with the itching. I’m not sure which frequency helped (if any). I’m trying again for the heck of it.

Back to Day 1 on the Lyme coiling cycle.

  • Tinea versicolor (700Hz, 13 Amps), chest (rash) 5 minutes
  • Babesia, ilium, 1 minute each side; knees/elbows, 1 minute; liver, 5 minutes; chest, 5 minutes; shoulder blades, 30 seconds each; shoulders, 30 seconds; feet, 1 minute; central back, 1 minute; low back, 1 minute
  • Lyme, bottom of feet, 2 minutes; top of feet, 2 minutes; lower shin, 2 minutes; upper calves, 2 minutes; knees, 3 minutes; back of thighs, 2 minutes; front of thighs, 2 minutes; sacrum, 2 minutes
  • Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes; chest, 2 minutes

Detox

  • skin brushing
  • Welchol (1 dose, 1 pill)
  • diatomaceous earth
  • BioMat (1 hour, level 2)
  • yoga

Body

Light night sweat. Woke up after only 6 hours, but very groggy even though I couldn’t go back to sleep. Tired. Big time light sensitivity. Rested all morning, lying down, after I got up to eat breakfast.

Yoga was less strenuous than usual. The worst part was a standing forward bend. I could feel all the pain and tightness in my upper back and shoulders. It’s funny because most people find that pose to be easy once they stop trying to touch their toes. The rest of the day, my upper back has been feeling all knotted up.

The rest of the day, fatigue, exhaustion, wanting to nap but not being able to sleep. Headache coming and going. Still dealing with the off balance feeling when I try to concentrate (like reading or looking at the computer screen). Arms and hands still hurt.

Fungal infection seems worse in this warmer weather. I was so itchy last night that it woke me out of my sleep. My urine is more cloudy than ever, more times of the day. I’ll have to deal with this more aggressively in the next few days and get in under control.
