I’ve been thinking over the past few days that I felt best (since I’ve been ill) when I was taking a cocktail of antibiotics that tackled all three of my major infections at the same time. So I’m full steam ahead on treating Babesia and Bartonella every other day, and Lyme each time the previous Herx dies down.
Coiling
Today is the second Bartonella-Babesia day. I’m not increasing either one of them because I’m dealing with a “mild” Lyme Herx from yesterday’s treatment.
- Bartonella, abdomen, 4 minutes
- Babesia, chest, 30 seconds
- Candida, abdomen, 10 minutes
Coiling for Babesia gave me the constricted chest feeling again, along with the sensation that there is something stuck in my throat. I also had some heart palpitations. This is expected since Babesia attacks red blood and can cause heart damage. Tonight I remembered to take magnesium citrate as soon as the heart symptoms started. (That was only 5 minutes ago. I’m still waiting to see if it works. Someone told me it takes about 20 minutes. 30 seconds to make a mess…20 minutes to clean it up. Not bad.)
The test I was trying about my hips/upper thighs seems to come out in favor of the problem emanating from my back. My hips actually feel somewhat better today after coiling my spine for Lyme. It’s a bigger improvement than I had when I was coiling my hips directly.
I’m still considering that I read that Bartonella can causes pain and tenderness down the outside of the thighs and shins. I may try coiling my hips for Bartonella in two days time. (After this Herx starts to die down.)
Detox
I’m changing my scale for recording the settings on the BioMat. It has 8 settings, and I’ve been using “medium” for settings 3, 4, and 5. As of tonight I’m moving to a more precise notation.
- homeopathic support
- kombucha
- juiced greens
- skin brushing
- infrared heat (40 min on level 3, 1 hour on level 4)
- castor oil pack on liver
- colestid
I’m using colestid tonight because it seems to make the most noticeable difference for the Lyme herxes. Even then, I can’t always tell the difference.
Body
I “slept” for 9 hours last night, but I was awake for several periods during the night. This morning, I had another series of vivid dreams. No night sweats. When I woke up, my mind woke up fully, even if my body was in slow motion.
This morning was a lot of pain. I didn’t want to move. Most significant was the pain in my spinal column and the surrounding muscles. Over the course of the day, the muscle pain spread throughout my lower back and later across my upper back.
I needed a nap this afternoon. My body and mind shut down at some point. So I eased into it. The rest of the day I had pretty intense knee pain. Both before and after the nap, I was very physically tired despite being alert.
At the moment, I have pain in my hands and shoulders, the hip pain that had disappeared earlier is back, my eyes are itchy and puffy, I have some pain in my ribs and my neck is making crunching noises. I feel a headache coming on.
This is mild for a Lyme Herx. The pain in my back doesn’t feel mild, but the fact that I’m not incapacitated means I coiled for just the right amount.
